After a well fought semi-final the Wilmot
Wolverines LL2 Team traveled to Sportsworld Arena to face Cambridge
White in the Pool A championship game. The
Wolverines took an early lead as number 24 Ada Bender scored an
unassisted goal just 24 seconds into the game to make it 1-0 for
Wilmot. The defense made up of Kasey Livingstone, Claire Weinacht, Olivia
Burns, Emily Friendorf and Aziza Pringle along with goaltender Juliana Baptie
did great job of limiting the scoring chances for the strong players

The
Wilmot Wolverines LL2 team travelled to Don McLaren Arena this past Saturday to
face the Kitchener Pandas with the winner earning a spot in the A pool
final. These two teams had many hard fought battles this season with the
Pandas winning two of the three games. The Pandas would take a 1-0 lead in this
game before Claire Weinacht scored (assisted by Raelyn Cook) to tie the game at
1-1. The defensive crew made up of Kasey Livingstone, Olivia Burns,
Claire Weinacht and Emmie Fronchak did a great job of limiting the oppositions
scoring chances while Aziza Pringle stood strong between the pipes down the
stretch. Regulation would end up a 1-1 tie and put the game into
shootouts.
