Permission to Tryout Request 2023-24

ALL PERMISSION TO TRYOUT REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN THIS FORMAT. THIS FORM IS TO REQUEST A PERMISSION TO TRYOUT FORM TO ALLOW A WILMOT PLAYER TO TRYOUT ELSEWHERE.

The WGHA will only issue Permission to Tryout (PTT) forms for levels higher than are being offered by the WGHA.

In order to get a Permission to Tryout (PTT) form, the player must register and pay for tryouts for the WGHA.

You must submit one request for each PTT you need (e.g., each centre, dates of tryouts, and level you are wishing to tryout at).

All PTT forms will be sent out by the night before they become valid. No Permission to Tryout forms will be issued until April 18, 2023.

PLEASE NOTE: we require at least 72 hours notice to process PTS requests

As per the OWHA:
"For players registered for the 2022/2023 season, Permission to Tryout forms are valid as of 12:01 am on April 19th, 2023, to May 31st, 2023 and from August 15th, 2023 until a date to be announced by the OWHA."

A player that is under suspension is NOT eligible for a permission to skate unless she has written approval from the OWHA Discipline Board. No Player may participate in any OWHA sanctioned activity with a team other than her own team unless she has a release or properly executed permission to skate form.

Complete all fields. Verbal or email requests will not be processed.
