Wilmot Earns a Point in the Dying Seconds Vs. Cambridge White
The Wilmot Wolverines Novice LL 2 team hosted Cambridge White. The Wolverines would work their way to a 3-0 lead before the halfway point of the game thanks to two goals by Olivia Burns and another by Ada Bender. The talented Cambridge team would climb their way back into this game by scoring 2 goals before the end of the second and then tied the game early in the third. With under two minutes remaining in the third Cambridge would score again to take a 4-3 lead. The Wolverines didn't give up and continued to bring the offensive pressure late in the game and the team was rewarded with 3 seconds left when Claire Weinacht scored to make the final 4-4.
