In the second last game of the season the Wolverines would face a rival when they faced the Kitchener Pandas.  Going into this game the Pandas had defeated the Wolverines in their two meetings.  This game would live up to its expectations of being a close and hard fought battle. It was 1-1 going into the third thanks to an unassisted goal by Ada Bender.  Bender would add another goal (assisted by Raelyn Cook) with under 4 minutes to go in the third period.  Aziza Pringle stood strong between the pipes to preserve the 2-1 victory for the Wolverines.
