Stratford Festival Cup Tournament
The Wilmot Wolverine Peewee C team took part in the Stratford Festival Tournament this weekend. Wilmot played four games on Friday and Saturday ultimatley losing their quarter final match up against the host Stratford Aces.
The teams best performance came in game two when they faced Ilderton. The Wolverines trailed 2-0 in the third when Maddie Stainer-Mace scored to put the team on the board (assisted by Avery Vance). The Wolverines then tied the game thanks to a Katie Martin goal assisted by Marley O'Connell. Kara Cook then scored on an end to end rush giving the Wolverines a 3-2 win.
The Wolverine Peewee C's now enter a long break before seeing their next game. The team will see their next opponent on December 14 in St. Clements when they take on the Twin Centre Hericanes.
