Game 1 of the Kyla Kowalik Tournament
For the first game of this tournament we played the Waterloo Ravens #3 team. The girls were excited to get back on the ice after their break over Christmas. Baker was between the pipes for this game. The girls played hard in the first and the score was tied 0-0 at the end of the period. During the second period Waterloo managed to score a goal but the Wolverines were not prepared to give up. They came back in the third and scored a goal to tie the game. Kirsten Bolding scored with an assist by Morgan Bard. With the game tied both teams were skating hard. Unfortunately with 11.6 seconds left in the game Waterloo scored to lead 2-1. The girls should be proud of their game play. Way to go Wolverines!
