Game 4 of the Jason Cripps Tournament
This morning the Wolverines faced off against the Stratford Aces. Baker was in net against her former team and hungry for a win. The girls had a slow start but held the Stratford team to 0-0 until late in the first when Straford scored on a defensive error on our part. Stratford led 1-0 through to the end of the second period. The Wolverines were hustling and got off some great shots but couldn't manage to score one. Early in the third Stratford scored again on a scramble around the net that put them up 2-0. The Wolverines pulled their goalie and attempted to score but were unsuccessful. The girls ended up fourth in their pool and will face off against Stratford again today in the semi-finals at Don McLaren at 5:00. Go get'em girls - we know you can beat this team!!
