Wolverines on a Streak

The Wilmot Wolverines Novice B team continue to run on a hot streak with a win over Woodstock on the weekend. The score was 4-0 and the defensive work of Maddie McCormick, Jayden Calder and Alisha Latyn helped the team to secure the win. The three D plus some other forward players helped to cover for a teammate who was ill. Kara Mark saw a handful of shots and kept her mind sharp in net. Scorers for the Wolverines included Emily Hussey with two goals, Carson Weiler and Jenna Kumpf with assists awarded to Sierra Egli, Latyn, Weiler, Paige Carter and Hussey. Great hustle by Lindsay Slessor and Mikayla O'Connell. The Wolverines will take on Grand River in Fergus this weekend. Go Wolverines!
