Wolverines Suffer First Loss
The Novice B Wolverines succumbed their very first regular season loss on the weekend after a tough go against Guelph. The score was 2-1 in the end with the lone Wolverine goal going to hard working Lauren Bast. The girls played very well and had many scoring opportunities but came up against some hot goaltending and many of the shots were right at the pads. Great hustle by Emily Hussey and solid goaltending for Wilmot by Kara Mark. The girls also tied the Cambridge Roadrunners 2-2 with both goals going to Paige Jurica. Fast skating and aggressive play by Paige Carter, Carson Weiler and Jadyn Calder. The Wolverines are confident they will be back on the winning track. This week the girls take on Brantford on Saturday. Go Wolverines!
