Wolverines Trump Guelph
The Novice B Wilmot Wolverines, sponsored by Stitch Graphix were able to pull off two more wins this past week against Guelph making their record 17-0-1. The girls won 2-0 in a tilt at home, and then 5-1 in Guelph on the weekend. Exciting goals were scored on Sunday by Paige Carter, Lindsay Slessor, Sierra Egli, Lauren Bast and Emily Hussey. Assists awarded to Jenna Kumpf (2), Carson Weiler (2), Paige Carter and Emily Hussey. Terrific defense by Maddie McCormick and Jayden Calder and solid goaltending by Kara Mark. The Wolverines take on Kitchener, Cambridge and Guelph this week. Go Wolverines!
