Home against the Roadrunners
The Wolverines seventh game of the season was played tonight at home against the Cambridge Roadrunners. The first period was fast paced and evenly matched. Alisha made some great saves and the girls missed some opportunities to score. The period ended tied at 0-0. The Roadrunners opened up the scoring in the second to lead 1-0. We came back in the third period and tied it up with a goal by Jenna assisted by Cassandra and Morgan. Cambridge came back and scored two quick goals to make it 3-1. Despite many close chances by the Wolverines and great hustle the game ended with a score of 3-1. The girls played hard and should be proud of their effort tonight. The team is on the road this weekend at the North Halton Twisters Tournament. Good luck girls!
