Home against the Wild
The Wolverines hosted the Woolwich Wild for their second home game of the season. Alisha started between the pipes. The Wild came out hungry and skating hard. We were missing a few players and the girls were adjusting to new line mates. We gave up a goal late in the first period. The second period started and the Wolverines were playing tough and getting lots of shots but no lucky bounces for us today. There were two quick goals for the Wild early in the second to give them a 3-0 lead. Michaela came into the game to mind the net midway in the second period.
The Wolverines were working hard and hustling but couldn't seem to put one away. Overall it was a great effort by our Bantam girls! They should be proud of how they continued to battle despite being down on the score board. Our next game is in Fergus on Saturday November 12th as we take on the Grand River Mustangs.
