This past weekend the B-W Feed & Seed Wilmot Wolverines Atom B team travelled to the LLHFL Tournament of Champions in Mississauga and accomplished their pre-season goal of bringing home the gold medal. The championship victory was not easily earned, and the girls had to dig deep in order to end the weekend on top. With their new motto: “Why Not Us?” the girls proved that all of the sacrifice and hard work that they had put in since early September was rewarded.

The B-W Feed & Seed Wilmot Wolverines had a huge victory today as they beat Stratford for the first time 4-2. Waiting to see how other teams fare in their round robin games, the Wolverines will move on to the championship round tomorrow in either the bronze medal game, or the gold medal game - both scheduled around noon tomorrow. Either way, the coaching staff, parent group and siblings are all so proud of the hard work and determination the team has shown at LLFHL Championship weekend.
Good luck Wolverines - you can do it! WHY NOT US???

After a nail-biting overtime win 5-4 versus the West Huron Wave, the B-W Feed & Seed Atom B Wilmot Wolverines clinched their spot and are deemed the Central West Division Lower Lakes Female Hockey League champs. The Wolverines will go on the Championship weekend tournament in Mississauga next weekend where they will face the best of the league.

The Atom B Wilmot Wolverines had mixed emotions this past weekend as they were eliminated from Provincial play downs last Friday, but won their series versus Cambridge to go toward Lower Lakes Female Hockey League Championship weekend. The Wolverines will now face a tough team from West Huron. Celebrating a huge win, the girls beat Cambridge 3-0. Rebounding from a tough loss versus Waterloo, Wilmot was able to dominate the game, and just ask them - they aren't finished yet.
