Atom LL#1, U11, 2016-2017 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

The Atom LL#1 Wolverines played the final three games of the regular season schedule with the calendar flipping over to March. The Wolverines travelled to Fergus for the final meeting of the season against Grand River 2.  The Wolverines came to play on the sunny Saturday afternoon recording a 4-0 shutout over the host team.  Goals would be scored by Teagan (2) and Olivia B (2) with assists going to Claire, Emmie, Rowyn (2), Charlee, and Audrey.

Since the Wolverines gold medal in Stoney Creek and season tournament sweep they have started back into league play to close out the remainder of the regular season schedule.

The Atom LL1 Wolverines, sponsored by Absolute Fitness, participated in the Stoney Creek Sweethearts tournament the weekend of February 3rd-5th. The Wolverines would square off against one of the host teams, Stoney Creek Green, on Friday morning.  Claire Weinacht would score the first goal 1:05 into the game and it would seem the Wolverines were off to a great start.  The host team would respond late in the 1st period and it would remain tied until late into the 3rd period when Emmie Fronchak would find Rowyn Burns to break the tie.  The Wolverines would skate to a 2-1 win in the opener.

The Atom LL1 Wolverines participated in the Kyla Kowalik tournament January 13th – 15th.

The Atom LL1 Wilmot Wolverines, sponsored by Absolute Fitness, participated in the Jason Cripps tournament December 26th – 30th in Kitchener with 7 other teams in the Atom division top tier pool.
