After winning gold at the North Halton
Twisters tournament, the Wolverines started back into league play with games
against the Cambridge Roadrunners – White & the Guelph Gryphons #1.
The Wolverines would take this opportunity to shuffle the deck and allow players some exposure to different positions.
The Wolverines offence would prove to be too much for Cambridge. Audrey scored the 1st goal of her career! Claire registered her first hat trick of the season! Other goals were scored by Teagan, Olivia B., Faith, and Charlee.
On Saturday December 03rd, they travelled to Guelph for a matinee game and the Wolverines came to play - registering 6 goals in the 1st period alone. By the end of the game, they would have goals scored by Olivia B., Claire, Teagan, Kasey, Isabella, Rowyn and Faith with assists going out to Charlee, Olivia B., Aleah, Rowyn and Claire.
Emmie would come up with a couple timely saves in the 3rd period to preserve the shutout.
The Wolverines will wrap up the 1st half of the season next weekend with a road game on Saturday against Cambridge Black and then back home on Sunday against Guelph #2 and look to finish strong!
