The Wolverines continued their winning ways
with 2 more victories over the last week!
The Wolverines hosted Cambridge Teal on
Wednesday November 2nd and skated to a 5-1 W.
They had a fairly balanced attack putting
up goals in all 3 periods of the game while only giving up 1 goal and limiting
the offensive chances the other team had on their own net.
Charlee scored her first goal of the season
(and her career) in the 2nd period!
Goals were also scored by Faith, Teagan and Rowyn with assists by Olivia
B., Teagan, Rowyn, Emmie and Isabella.
The Wolverines scrambled their lineup
during most of the game in order to give the girls some exposure to different
positions they have been expressing interest in trying this season.
On Saturday, the Wolverines hosted the Woolwich Wild.
The Wolverines would again scramble their lineup right down to the goalie position this time.
Isabella scored her first goal of the season! Goals were also scored by Faith, Teagan and Kasey with assists going to Teagan, Olivia P., Kasey and Claire. The defensive efforts of many individuals limited the amount of zone time by the Wild and allowing Emmie to get some timely whistles.
Emmie would record the shutout in a 6-0W!
The Wolverines will travel to Milton to participate in the North Halton Twisters tournament the weekend of November 18th. Let’s go Wolverines!!!!!
