The Wolverines Midget Rep team have moved on into the 3rd round semi finals of the LLFHL playoff's with a 2-0, 1-0 two game series win over Kitchener Lady Rangers today.  Strong team play, backstopped by back to back shut outs by goalies Gillian Chesney and Abbey Luckhardt have the team sporting a 5-1-1 record in the playoffs this month!

The regular season is quickly coming to an end!  The Midget Rep Wolverines moved into sole possession of third place overall in the Central West Division after a solid team win last night over their hard nosed rival's Kitchener Lady Rangers by a score of 2-0.  The shut out went to goalie Jillian Chesney and make a total of 6 on the season shared with Abbey Luckhardt.  With three games remaining...

The Wolverines traveled to Waterloo over the weekend for what was a defensive gem of a game.  After starting off slow, the ladies found their game in the second and the third periods shutting down the high offence Waterloo Ravens.  The game ended in a well played scoreless draw.  Player of the game kudos to net minder Jillian CHESNEY who withstood a barrage of shots in the first period, keeping her team in it and earning her first shut out of the season!
