Atom LL's Finish First Half of the Season with a Win
The Atom LL's hosted the Kitchener Lions on Wednesday, in their final game before the mid-season break.
The Atom LL's came out skating and showed a lot of enthusiasm throughout the game. For much of the game, the Wolverines dominated the play and kept the puck in the Kitchener end.
It was a fast-paced game, with the Wolverines playing very aggressively and fighting for control of the puck.
The first, and only goal of the game came late in the second period with a nice shot from Grace B., assisted by Sequoia P. and Kya G. Final score was 1-0.
Goaltender Eva C. faced minimal shots, thanks to the Wolverines' strong defensive play.
The Atom LL's will be back on the ice after Christmas, when they participate in the Jason Cripps Tournament held Dec 27th - 31st.
