Peewee LL #2, U13, 2013-2014 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

LL 2, in a highly anticipated rematch against Wilmot's other local league team, showed their true colors by controlling the pace the puck and the score.

In a bounce back game, LL#2 played a very exciting game against the Grand River Mustangs Monday night.

In a 5-0 loss it was evident the wheels had fallen off the LL#2 bus as the Wolverines stepped away from their game committing mental lapses that cost them. Hard hat player of the game Olivia Bender for her consistent defensive play and smartie award went to Heather Darlington for her great effort up front in a new position. Lets pull it back together for Monday nights game against Grand River.

In what has proven to be a highly competitive match up; a 3-3 tie in exhibition and 1-1 a tie in league play. LL#1 pulled down the a rep goalie from the pee wee C team to shut down LL#2's shooters. LL#2 put forward a valiant effort but just couldn't get it by Gillian Knar.   The hard hat player of the game went to Katelyn Yantzi and smartie award winner Payge Schlosser. A solid effort girls. 

In a hard fought game LL#2 Wolverines came from behind to tie the Ayr Rocket. Down their regular goal tender Mare Prober  and their offensive defense man Abby Bender, the Wolverines knew they would have to pull out all the stops.
