Rockets Edge Wolverines
In a game easily dominated by the Wolverines with control of the play Monday night Ayr Rockets managed a 1-0 win scoring the only goal of the game with 21 seconds left in the 2nd period. The Wolverines had their chances but just couldn't bulge the back of the twine. With the goalie pulled in the last minute Payge Schlosser managed a mid air block with her stick to prevent a 2nd goal by the rockets and claiming the hard hat award unanimously as vote by her team mates.
