No horror in Elora in 3-0 loss
In a bounce back game, LL#2 played a very exciting game against the Grand River Mustangs Monday night.
With a scoreless first period where LL#2 controlled more than 3 quarters of the play in the Mustang end it looked like LL#2 was on a roll to start the second period. With a near miss from Shelby Page on point, the Mustangs collected the puck and rushed down the ice to score. The Wolverines had their flashes of brilliance with breakaways and shots in tight but they just couldn't manage to get it past the keeper. With a late goal in the second and third LL#2's fate was sealed. A great effort though was displayed by all of LL#2. Hard Hat player of the game Heater Darlington with another great performance up front. Smartie award player of the game Mare Prober for her fine net play.
