In the second game of the home at home series the Wolverines jumped out to an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Shelby Page, only to see it slip away by the mid way point of the 2nd. Being down 3-1 the Wolverines dug deep and Kate Duckworth put in their second goal of the game.
Down 3-2 in the 3rd with under a minute left, Mare Prober was pulled from the net for the extra player. Olivia Bender with a saving play at the blue line using her body kept the puck in advancing it to Kate Duckworth for 2nd goal of the game beating the Ayr Rockets net minder 5 hole and completing a come back tie. Our hard hat player of the game was awarded to Abby Bender who played a complete hard nosed game up front on right wing. The Smartie award recipient Olivia Bender on her heads up play at the blue line. Great game Wolverines for never giving up and believing in yourselves.
