Wilmot Wolverines Meet the Waterloo Warriors
This past Saturday our Novice LL Wolverines spent a fun afternoon with the Waterloo Warriors Women's University hockey team.
The girls attended the Waterloo Warriors game against the Ryerson Rams. Prior to the game, the girls had the opportunity to go into the Warriors dressing room and get autographs and chat with the players.
During the first intermission our girls suited up to play a mini-game on the Warriors ice, while the fans cheered on. The girls all showed their great skills and skated hard during their scrimmage.
Afterwards, they had a pizza party and also got to cheer on the Warriors from the stands. It was a great game to watch and our girls showed their support as the Warriors beat the Rams 3-2.
Thanks again to coach Rob for organizing the event. It was a great opportunity for our girls to see where their involvement in hockey can take them.
