Novice LL's Lose Two
The Novice LL's had a tough weekend, coming away with two loses in games against Ayr and Waterloo.
In the game against the Ayr Rockets, the Wolverines were able to keep things close for two periods. However, late in the second the Rockets scored two. In the third, the Rockets continued their scoring spree and were able to add 3 more.
The game against Waterloo #1 was a much closer game, with all of the girls keeping the puck away from our goal very well. When the puck did get through the defense, goalie Kasey L. made some excellent saves to keep the game close.
Waterloo was able to get one on the board late in the second period due to an unlucky bounce in front of the net. The Wolverines had a few good scoring chances in the third, but unfortunately could not get one past the Raven's goalie.
However, the girls can be proud of how they bounced back from a tough loss versus Ayr to play a hard fought game against Waterloo. The girls are looking forward to their last game of the season in a rematch against Ayr.
