Tough week for Novice LL's
The Novice LL's played two games this past week and unfortunately, lost both games.
On Thursday night, the team travelled to Elmira to play the Woolwhich Wild, in a make up game that was previously cancelled due to weather.
Unfortunately, the Wolverines had a few girls missing due to illness, and it turned out to be a tough game. The Wild came out skating and did not allow our girls many scoring chances. The Wolverines came away with a 4-0 loss.
On Saturday morning, the girls faced the Waterloo Ravens #1, in an early morning match-up. The game ended in a 1-0 loss for the Wolverines, who again were missing some players. It is the only time this season, that the Novice LL's have suffered 2 losses in a row. However, the team is looking forward to their next game against the Ayr Rockets this coming Saturday. With only 3 games left in the regular season, the Wolverines are in third place in their pool.
