Novice HL, U9, 2011-2012 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

The girls season has come to an end.  In their final game, the girls scored their 100th goal of the season.  Great Work!  The season has had it's share of ups and downs but the one common thing was they all had FUN.  They have all learned and improved so much since the beginning of the season. A big THANK YOU goes out to the coaches and trainers for making this an awesome year. Don't forget our year end party is on Sat April 21 and then the awards ceremony is Sun April 22.     We hope everyone will be back out again next year!

The Wilmot Wolverines Novice HL have played some of their best hockey at the Kyla Kowalik Memorial Tournament.  We had some first time goal scorers and some miraculous goal tending to make this a great tournament.   With a record of 2-0-1 they just took first place in their pool by 1/2 point. Just over one week to go in our shooting challenge.  Still time for the girls to move up into the top 5...and more importantly...to improve both their forehand and backhand shots!

Wilmot Wolverines Novice HL Shooting Challenge! The Novice HL team has been given the challenge of completing a certain number of shots each week in order to improve on both their forehand wrist shots and backhand shots.

The Wilmot Novice girls team just completed a fantastic weekend of hockey.  On Saturday the girls won against the Waterloo Raven "2cans" by a score of 5 to 2 at home.  The next morning they traveled to the Waterloo Rockin' Ravens 5 at RIM park and took that game by a score of 10 to 1.  The two wins this weekend has propelled the girls from fourth to first place in the league.   Click for more details and the scoring details.
