Another Strong Game by Atom LL's
The Atom LL's played another strong game last night against the Kitchener Lady Rangers White, but had to settle for a tie.
The Wolverines team came ready to play and completely dominated for most of the game. The Wolverines dominated shots on net throughout the game, but in the first period in particular, had a lot of scoring opportunities. However, the Rangers' goaltender played well and the first period remained scoreless.
The Wolverines finally got on the board midway through the second period, with a shot by Maeve C. (assisted by Natasha H.) that managed to find the Rangers net through a crowd of players. The Wolverines held the Rangers to a minimum of shots and were able to maintain the lead until just under 8 minutes in the third period, when Kitchener evened the score.
Despite some more great chances in the third, the Wolverines were unable to score, and had to settle for the tie.
