Atom LL's Extend Unbeaten Streak
The Wilmot Wolverine Atom LL's extended their unbeaten streak on Saturday with a 2-1 win against the Grand River Mustangs #1.
The Wolverines came out skating hard against the Mustangs.
They took a 1-0 lead with a rebound shot by Ada B., unassisted.
Later in the game, the Wolverines went ahead 2-0 with Jayden D. (unassisted) scoring her first of the season in a great breakaway shot. The Mustangs added 1 goal, but that was all they were able to get past the Wolverines goaltender.
Kasey L. was solid for the Wolverines in net, with some great saves to prevent the Mustangs from tying up the score late in the game.
The Wolverines' play their first home game of the season on November 2nd, against the Woolwhich Wild.
