Pee Wee LL#2 had one of their busiest
Saturdays yet, participating in the Kowalik tournament; playing 3 games and
participating in a skills competition. Game 1 vs. the Flamborough Falcons a
very talented fast skating team but ultimately losing the battle 3-0.
Hard hat player of the game Shelby Page, Smartie award winner Abby Bender and game MVP Kate Duckworth. Game 2 vs. the Kitchener Warriors a team LL#2 had come up against in the Cripps. This was a evenly matched game exciting right down to the wire, with the Wolverines falling short 2-1. Hard Hat player of the game went to Mare Prober who made some fantastic saves, Smartie award winner Heather Darlington and MVP Katelyn Yantzi. In Game 3 vs. Walkerton LL#2 playing the late game showed the effects of a long day losing 5 -0 to a fast skating team.
