In describing her as Captain, words such as; "always trying to work for the team, cares more about other people scoring, than raking up her own goals..cheerful, hardworking..she goes hard both ways..she's not one to retaliate, she is respectful and polite and can keep her cool. If someone is having a bad day or upset she always tries to cheer them up!" Your 2012-13 choice for captain is Jess Leiskau, congratulations!.
Katie Kneisel and Cass VanKalsbeek were chosen as Alternate Captains for the 2012-13 season and as second year players they will show the leadership and team spirit asked of them by the coaching staff.
There was a tonne of effort shown at practice on Sunday night, everyone should have been feeling a good burn in their leg's afterwards!
Reminder about team pictures tonight as well as a practice afterwards being lead by Coach Wayne Kneisel, as we prepare to play the Stratford Aces this Saturday at their barn. We are looking forward to the return of some of our rostered skaters which should help bolster our line up.
