Drop your Drawers and Sock it to 'em

It is great to return some good will to our community.  Again this year the association is donating to the Wilmot Family Resource Center Christmas Hamper program. We are collecting NEW socks and underwear to be included in the hampers.

The team that collects the most pairs of NEW socks and underwear will win PIZZA and the opportunity to deliver the NEW socks and underwear to the WFRC on behalf of the WGHA

Wolverine Families

As an Association we have once again decided to return some good will to our community, by donating to the Wilmot Family Resource Center Christmas Hamper program. It was suggested that the best way we can help is by again collecting NEW socks and underwear to be included in the hampers.

Their need is for school aged boys and girls (4-17 years old), with the biggest need for the 10-17 year olds. But all sizes are appreciated

Our Goal – to fill a hockey net and top last years donation of 2802 pairs, (they were used in the hampers and the extras have gotten them through the rest of the year)

Your incentive – the team that collects the most pairs of NEW socks and underwear will win PIZZA and the opportunity to deliver the NEW socks and underwear to the WFRC on behalf of the WGHA

New this year
 – There will be 2 top team prizes. There will be one PIZZA prize for the team the collects the most pairs amongst the teams who play on Rogers Day   AND  there will be one PIZZA prize for the team the collects the most pairs amongst the teams who do npt play on Rogers Day

Your team staff has been provided with bags to keep the donations in and I will be checking lockers weekly for donations starting this weekend

Watch for the tally sheet on our bulletin board starting next week

Wolverines – start bringing in the NEW socks and underwear and watch the WGHA bulletin board for weekly tallies.

Our campaign ends on Saturday December 10th at 7:00 pm

Thanks in advance for you support
