We are very proud of our tournament director, tournament committee, and to all the sponsors, volunteers, and minor hockey fans that helped to make this year's Kyla Kowalik Memorial Tournament such a great success!
Teams came from all across southern Ontario to celebrate a love of hockey and to enjoy a weekend of community fun. The competition was fierce, but friendly, and everyone went home smiling! Please enjoy these candid photos of some of our winners and participants:

Hope you've had an opportunity to check out all our Vendor Displays at the Kyla Kowalik Tournament. Lots of great things for sale, and information about organ donation(beadonor.ca).
Don't forget to come to the second floor of the WRC to buy some baked goods while you peruse the Silent Auction and Raffle Tables. Make sure to buy a 50/50 ticket too!
While you are upstairs, why not buy food from our Wilmot Wolverines Bantam B team. They are selling breakfast sandwiches, hashbrowns, pork on a bun, sausage on a bun, grilled cheese and beverages.
Good luck to all teams!

Kyla was the eldest daughter of Rick and Cecily Kowalik and big sister to Carly and Reese. She was an avid athlete and from a young age displayed not only an interest in sports but many gifted skills as well. Kyla played soccer, volleyball and basketball. She figure skated and did track and field, bur her true passion was hockey.
Kyla began playing hockey in New Hamburg with a boys' team at the Peewee level. Always wearing #4 and playing defense, she continued to play on a boys' team right up to the Bantam AE level and was a force to be reckoned with on the ice.
