The Wolverine Girls earned 2 wins over the weekend using high-scoring offence.  Saturday saw the Wolverines skate past Woodstock by a score of 8-3.  The girls got up bright and early Sunday morning to travel to Cambridge where the Roadrunners awaited their first match-up.  The girls were in for a huge surprise during the 1st period as the referee made the season's first icing call.  Once the confusion settled down the girls put the puck in the net 5 times as they beat the Roadrunner 5-2.  Michelle and Emily S. had strong games in goal over the weekend.  The Wolverines travel to Woodstock next Saturday for a rematch against the Wildcats.
