Great Start!
It was awesome to see all the girls back on the ice both Sat and Wed. I am excited for the upcoming season.
On Wednesday night after the practice, I indicated to some of you that we would have teams sorted out by the weekend. Unfortunately, I misspoke. Do to further developments we will be postponing forming the teams for probably another week. The WGHA executive met last night and some alternative arrangements have been made which make it challenging for us to form teams at this time. We will continue with our regular scheduled practices and will continue to use the assigned game jerseys until further notice. Your patience is appreciated.
One a side note I was wondering whether there are any of you who would be willing to lend a hand on a regular basis, in getting and putting back the equipment, nets, etc. before and after each ice-time. Between, jerseys, pucks, pylons, 2x4", tennis balls, nets, med kits, etc. It can be time consuming and exhausting "many hands make light work". If you can help, shoot me an email
