Dressing room Policy
For the 2018-19 season our policy will be no males in the dressing rooms while girls are dressing or undressing.

Given the ages of the girls, it has been decided by the coaches that no males will be allowed in the dressing room while girls are getting ready for or after being on the ice.

For some of you, this may present a bit of a challenge. I would suggest that before our first couple ice session that you have your daughter practice getting dressed on her own.

We hope that there will be sufficient female helpers (moms, etc.) in the dressing room to assist any girl in need. If girls need their skates tied (by dad) they can come out of the dressing room to have males (dads, etc.) tie their skates.

Given this policy it is expected that all girls show up a minimum of 25 mins before any practice or game. This allows enough time for the girls to be dressed (20 mins) then allow male coaches to enter the change room for pre-game/practice talks and or any necessary instructions. Similarly, we expect that the undressing process is delayed by 5 minutes to allow male coaches to enter post game/practice.

Thank-you for your attention to this matter, any questions can be addressed directly to me.
