Peewee BBWolverines find some offense vs. Cambridge
The Wilmot Wolverines traveled to the Cambridge Centre on Tuesday to take on the Cambridge Roadrunners. The Wolverines found themselves down 2-0 when Taryn McIntyre scored unassisted to cut the lead to 2-1. Cambridge would add to the lead with two more goals in the second extending their lead to 4-1 but Wilmot would mount a comeback. Paige Carter scored (assisted by Kara Cook) with 2 minutes remaining in the second to cut the lead to 4-2. Brianna Arends would score early in the third (assisted By Julia Kehl) to bring the game within a goal. The Wolverines would have plenty of opportunities to tie the game but 4-3 would be the final.
