Wolverines End Regular Season with a Tie
The Wilmot Wolverines Peewee BB team recently wrapped up their regular season in London. The team traveled to Argyle Arena to face the Devilettes. The Wolverines would play strong in this close fought match, but found themselves down 1-0 after London scored in the second period. In the third period with under 3 minutes left, Jenna Kumpf made a nice pass to Kamryn Lamond who would find the back of the net and tie the game. The team would finish the regular season with a 1-1 tie against the London Devilettes.
This weekend the Peewee BB team will take part in the Devilettes tournament in London before taking part in provincial play downs. The play downs will see Wilmot face three other teams (Woolwich, Cambridge and Waterloo) with the top two teams moving on to the Provincial Tournament.
