Peewee BB Wolverines start Provincial Play Downs with a Tie.
The Wilmot Wolverines Peewee BB team followed up a strong showing at this weekend’s Devilette’s tournament with an equally strong game against Cambridge on Tuesday. The team traveled to Cambridge Centre Mall for game one of their provincial play downs. The team had many offensive chances to start the game including a possible goal that was called off by the officials. Cambridge would strike first making it 1-0 in the second period. The Wolverines continued the offensive pressure and it paid off with the tying goal from Julia Kehl with the assist going to Marley O’Connell. The game would end a 1-1 tie.
