The Week Ahead for the Pee Wee Girls
Great effort today in our final exhibition game against the Waterloo Ravens!  A number of girls could have easily won the digger award tonight without a doubt.  Congratulations to Faith for winning "Digger"  this week.  Our strong defense, some impressive backchecking, great shots on net and some amazing saves by Liv illustrates what a talented team we have!  We'll have a busy week ahead with our first tournament coming up.

Wednesday practice will have dryland training immediately following.  The girls are to bring appropriate athletic wear, including running shoes in addition to bringing a water bottle.  The dry land training will start immediately after practice and run for 45 minutes.  Parents should return to the arena for 8:10 pm for pick up!   Thank you to Coach Carolyn for running the first dryland session.

Our Clearview Pre Season Tournament has us playing two games on Friday (2:30 and 7:45).  Players are to be at the arena 1 hour before each game to sign in.  Saturday's game is at 1:00 pm.  The top two teams advance to the final game on Sunday at 10:00 am.

Our team manager, Jen Hunt is organizing our potluck dinner on the Friday night in between the first two games.  Please contact Jen to work out what everyone is bringing.

A thank you goes out to Logan's Grandma for sewing on our name bars....My approach of duct tape and/or a stapler just wouldn't be the same.

We will not have our regularly scheduled practice this Sunday at 5:00 pm...I'm hoping we'll be too tired from our championship game on Sunday at 10:00.

Our regular season schedule will be finalized on October 2.  Coach Joel will be attending the schedulers meeting Mississauga in the afternoon.  I will keep everyone posted as soon as I know.

As always, any questions please ask!
