This week in hockey!!
Good Morning Players and Parents,
We will be busy the next couple of weeks in hockey as we begin to wrap up our regular season play. I plan to have a parent's meeting as soon as I have some concrete information about our league playoffs and provincial playdowns. I will keep you posted.
Following today's practice (Sunday Jan 8) Coach Caroline will be leading the girls in a team run.
On Tuesday (Jan 10) we are at the Zone in Waterloo (483 Conestoga Road) for specialized training on shooting and passing. This will be on ice so have the girls wear full equipment and be ready to go by 6:20. For those of you that have not been at the Zone before it can be hard to find, the sign at the front is poorly lit and the entrance is at the back of the building.
Wed Jan 11 our regularly scheduled home game has been replaced with a game against Twin Centre in St. Clements.
Saturday we are visiting Ayr Rockets and Sunday we visit Waterloo Ravens at the Waterloo Rec Centre.
All these teams are very similar to our girls and I suspect some great games!
