The 1000 Puck Challenge is here!
Each member of the Atom HL Team is CHALLENGED to complete 1000 practice shots by January 1st 2013. Each player who completes the challenge will receive a prize.
Practice shots are to be done at home using a regulation hockey puck. Grab your net, put down an old piece of vinyl flooring or a hard piece of plastice on the driveway or in the garage, and start letting them fly! Each Saturday after our game or practice you can report to the coaching staff how many shots you completed. Your goal should be about 100 per week and 100 shots should only take you about 10-15 minutes to complete.
Why do the 1000 Pucks Challenge? So that when you are in a game situation, your shot has a better chance to bulge the twine in the back of the net, or to clear the puck from our zone so we can make a rush up the ice! And did I mention there would be a prize!?
