COVID Protocols at the Wilmot Recreation Complex

When entering the Wilmot Recreation Complex:

First table is the security table where you will show your proof of vaccination and photo ID.

Second table is the facility table where you:

  • (if with a WGHA team) Tell the attendant that you have completed the WGHA team screening.
  • (if with a visiting team) Tell the attendant that you have completed your team screening. Visiting teams are to confirm they have completed their own team pre-screening (bench staff, players, parents, siblings, and spectators). Visiting Head Coaches will be contacted for these records by Public Health if required.
  • (for anyone else) Show your Township of Wilmot screening result showing you are ok to enter (

Details For Everybody:

  • Anyone entering aged 12+ must provide proof of full vaccination (14 days after second dose) and photo ID.
  • Children under the age of 12 do not need to provide proof of vaccination.  Have a birth certificate on hand for those under 12 to prove age.
  • No exemptions will be allowed.
  • All attendees must successfully complete the COVID screening prior to coming to the facility and provide contact tracing information either with their organization or the Wilmot Township link (
  • Inside, everyone must wear a face mask or face covering.
  • Violence and harassment are prohibited with possible Police contact for non-compliance.

Details For Teams:

  • All coaches and team staff are required to wear a face mask or face covering in all areas of the facilities including the dressing rooms, change rooms, and team benches.
  • Players can remove their face mask when putting on their helmet and will put on a face mask once the helmet is removed.
  • Dressing room access is 30 minutes before until 30 minutes after ice times. Shower use is now permitted (masks not required in the shower).
  • Follow the posted dressing room capacity limits. Use benches outside the dressing rooms for extra players and staff.
  • No warm-ups are allowed indoors or in the parking lot.
  • It is recommended that you arrive 35 minutes prior to ice time to allow 5 minutes for check-in as the checks are expected to take some time.
