The Wilmot Wolverines U11B battled their way to a silver medal at the Fall Challenge Cup after a weekend of hard-fought hockey.
The team opened with a tie against Waterloo before rebounding with a solid win over Burlington. An early morning loss to Sarnia set up a must-win quarterfinal, where the Wolverines earned redemption with a 3–0 shutout over Waterloo.
In the semifinal, Wilmot stayed hot with a 3–1 win over the Oshawa Lady Generals to advance to the championship game. Despite a strong effort in the final against Walkerton, playing 6 games in 3-days took its toll and the Wolverines came up short - proudly taking home silver.
A weekend full of grit, teamwork, and determination — a performance the Wolverines can be proud of!
