Novice B, U9, 2014-2015 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

After going 4 and 0 in round robin play the Novice B Wolverines have qualified for the OWHA Provincial Tournament in April. The girls played some of their best hockey of the year against some tough competition from Cambridge and Kitchener.  Great Work Girls!

Congratulations to the girls who went undefeated over the weekend to capture the A/B title at the Mississauga Christmas Classic.  The Wolverines allowed only three goals over the weekend and played an awesome final game against a tough Oakville opponent.

Another great effort by the girls in Kitchener as they went undefeated until the final where they eventually lost a 3 to 1 nail biter to the Stoney Creek Sabres.  Everyone gave it their best effort and worked hard to earn their medals.  Congratulations!

Congratulations to the Novice B team who captured the silver medal at the Clarington Applefest Tournament last weekend.  The girls, who battled the flu bug all weekend, and lost a couple of key players to this illness, lost a tough 2 to 1 seesaw battle with the Grand River Mustangs in the final.  It was a great weekend all around and we look forward to many more!
