PeeWee BB, U13, 2012-2013 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

    The Peewee BB Wolverines have just finished a fantastic two week stretch of hockey. Playing 10 games over that time, the team has posted a 5-2-3 record including a 6 game unbeaten streak. The streak ended in a classic Gold Medal game where the girls lost 2-1 in Overtime to the host Waterloo Ravens. It was a battle all the way and the girls showed a lot of character in tying the score with only 24 seconds left in regulation and 6 attackers on the ice.

Great job girls in Clarington on the weekend. We competed hard and got a chance to see some strong teams from the Ottawa area.

Congrats to all the players that have made the Wilmot Peewee BB team. The coaching staff is very impressed with the talent and work ethic this group has shown through an extremely competitive tryout process. We have a busy three weeks ahead to get ready for the start of our regular season and first tournament. Let's work together to prepare ourselves. Go Wolverines !!
