Wilmot Girls Hockey Association Awards
Each year at the conclusion of our hockey season, Wilmot Girls Hockey Association recognizes individuals for their contributions to our hockey program. Please consider nominating a deserving individual for one of the awards below.
Volunteer of the Year |
This award is given out annually to someone who has contributed countless hours of volunteer activity towards the activities of the WGHA. Someone who works tirelessly with no expectation of receiving recognition for their efforts. This may be anyone who has helped with the organization. |
| Leadership Award |
The Leadership Award is given out annually to someone who has provided exemplary leadership, dedication, and commitment towards the activities of the WGHA during the past year(s). This person is likely a member of the WGHA Executive, but could also be someone outside the Executive who has worked hard to help the WGHA in a significant way this past year.

| Fan of the Year |
Given to someone who comes out to many games and cheers on the Wolverines in a positive and enthusiastic manner or someone who contributes to the organization in a special way. This could be a parent, grandparent, friend, or family member of any player within the Wolverine family

| Local League Coach of the Year |
Given to a local league head or assistant coach that embodies the mission statement of the Wilmot Wolverines. Encouraging community spirit, commitment, determination, and hard work in the pursuit of excellence, and a focus on promoting safety and fun. Also instilling the values of discipline, team work, sportsmanship, leadership, and respect.

| Rep Coach of the Year |
Given to a Rep head or assistant coach that embodies the mission statement of the Wilmot Wolverines. Encouraging community spirit, commitment, determination, and hard work in the pursuit of excellence, and a focus on promoting safety and fun. Also instilling the values of discipline, team work, sportsmanship, leadership, and respect.
