Excerpt from nomination: I have never seen teams bond so well together the way the girls do under this person. Regardless of how well the season is going on the ice, the girls are always having a great time. Its also awesome to watch girls who have never played before fall in love with the game and grow so much. I think there is immeasurable value in having the girls coached by someone who they can see themselves in and see that future they can have with the game.
Fan of the Year: Brian Pfaff

Excerpt from nomination: He feels like everyone's grandpa. He comes to all of our home games and even drove to Lakeshore and Leamington to cheer for the girls this year and attended our freezing cold game on the outdoor rink when we played Southpoint in December. He is super friendly with all of the players and parents and other grandparents. He made cards with player names and numbers to give out early in the season to help fans figure out who was on the ice. Most important, he is always positive, never critical of any of the players, and can crack a good joke or too as well.

He would consistently ask for coaches feedback, was calm and controlled in chatting with referees and pushed the girls in the right direction while having some fun.
