The deadline for applications is Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Interviews by our coach selection committee will begin on March 1st, 2023. Interviews will be scheduled in-person or zoom depending on timing for the coach and preference.
Coaches will be announced on March 27, 2023 and tryouts for U13 and older will take place from April 25 to May 13.
We are looking for coaches for the following teams:
U9 Tier 1 ( Level B )
U11 Tier 1 ( Level BB )
U13 Tier 1 ( Level BB
U15 Tier 1 ( Level BB ) U15 Tier 2 ( Level B/C )
U18 Tier 1 ( Level BB ) U18 Tier 2 ( Level B/C )
COACHING APPLICATION PACKAGE REQUIREMENTS
The following must be sent to the Director of Staff Certification ([email protected]) by the deadline for use by the Coach Selection committee:
1. Coaching Philosophy: An outline of the principles you would call upon to coach a hockey team at the level you have applied for.
2. Yearly Plan: An outline of the expectations of the team in terms of skill development, team tactics and team systems development, as well as a rough season calendar. Please include an example of three practice plans.
3. Budget (tentative): A rough estimate of the anticipated costs associated with your proposed plan. Sample templates can be found here if desired.
