2019 Kyla Kowalik Memorial Tournament, 2018-2019 (Wilmot Girls Hockey)

We are excited to announce the kickoff of our 2020 Kyla Kowalik Memorial Tournament, which will take place January 10-12, 2020!  We are now accepting registration for teams at all levels, including two new options for our Novice Festival! Kyla Kowalik benefited many people by contributing to the Trillium Gift of Life. Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) is the Government of Ontario agency responsible for planning, promoting, coordinating and supporting organ and tissue donation and transplantation across the province and for continually improving the system so that more lives can be saved. TGLN provides Ontarians with tools and supports to help them make informed decisions. Everyone has a significant role to play when promoting the adoption of organ and tissue donation and transplantation.

Kyla was the eldest daughter of Rick and Cecily Kowalik and big sister to Carly and Reese.  She was an avid athlete and from a young age displayed not only an interest in sports but many gifted skills as well.  Kyla played soccer, volleyball and basketball.  She figure skated and did track and field.  But her true passion was hockey.
