Tryout Info Moving Forward
Thanks to all the girls who were out to our first tryout! The girls looked great and I can tell they are a hard-working bunch.Parents, please see below for a bit of information moving forward with tryouts (and ultimately some policies for our upcoming season for those that are on the team).
1) All girls will be involved in our 3 upcoming games on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Cuts will be made after Tuesday's game.
2) Please let me know asap if your daughter is not interested in playing on the U11 tier 1 team if she were to make it. Some girls only come out for the ice-time which is perfectly fine but I need to know in advance if this is the case as it could affect our cut numbers.
3) Please see the following dressing room procedures moving forward:
- No parents allowed in the dressing rooms (we have dressing room helpers who have cleared police checks).
- No parents allowed immediately outside the dressing room doors/hallway as it gets crowded and the door opens to girls changing in the room.
- If your daughter needs assistance getting dressed either dressing room helpers will assist or you can use the benches further down the hallway to help your daughter.
- Most girls will need help tying their skates which is perfectly fine. Girls can use the dressing room helpers or come out and wave their parent over to quickly tie skates.
- Please chat with your daughter about appropriate dressing room behaviour (e.g. absolutely no cell phones, running around, silliness, or yelling) Thanks everyone!
